Grocery shopping is convenient in La Habra with a Vons and Albertsons as well as a great specialty market called Claro’s Italian Markets Inc. Claro’s is a full service grocer with all the imported and domestic Italian specialty foods you need to create a gourmet feast.

La Habra supports the art via the La Habra Art Association and The Children’s Museum. There is lots of fun to be had at The Children’s Museum on Free Art Friday. They provide all kinds of art supplies and you and your children supply the creativity.

The La Habra City School District was formed back in 1896 and today has nine schools, seven elementary and two intermediate schools. Students then attend La Habra High or Sonora High, both run by the Fullerton Joint Union High School District. Just recently Arbolita Elementary was recognized as a California Distinguished School.
Transportation in La Habra
The Orange County Transit Authority covers La Habra. This city is also in the center of four freeways, the Interstate 5 and 605 and California Routes 60 and 57. It’s also not far from three major airports.

The Whittier Hospital Medical Center is the closest hospital to La Habra. It’s a full service facility with 500 doctors in over 40 specialties that has provided care to the area for over 50 years.
