Brea is a shopping town. Many people from the surrounding cities come to Brea to shop at the Brea Mall or Brea Downtown. You’ll find some fun boutiques in the downtown area and five major department stores at the mall.
Shopping for food is a breeze, too. Brea Downtown has a weekly farmers market and throughout Brea you’ll find all the major grocery retailers represented.
Arts and Culture in Brea
You can view art at the City of Brea Art Gallery as well as take workshops in painting or drawing using a variety of mediums. In 1975 Brea established the Art in Public Places Program. Over 150 sculptures have been created since the program began.

Schools in Brea operate under the Brea Olinda Unified School District. There are six elementary schools, one junior high, one high school and one alternative high school.
